Jim Jensen never set out to run just another HVAC company. With a career spanning over 20 years at industry giants Carrier and York, Jim developed deep expertise working on some of the most complex and mission-critical chillers in the region. “Applied equipment”—the big stuff—became second nature, whether it was a massive water-cooled chiller in a university plant or a high-efficiency system keeping a hospital cool through a Midwest summer.
After years of factory-level troubleshooting, project management, and hands-on service, Jim saw a gap in the local market. Many contractors handled boilers, rooftop units, or simple repairs, but when a big chiller broke down, even other HVAC companies called in a specialist. Jim was that specialist. In 2008, he decided to build a company where the highest level of technical knowledge and integrity could meet the practical, day-to-day needs of Wisconsin’s schools, manufacturers, offices, and commercial buildings.
